Bio:

Ben is past President of Tapa Inc and a key investor. He is a seasoned IT executive with over 25 years experience managing IT strategy for fortune 500, start-ups and non-profit organizations. Ben is an expert at building and scaling large multi-tenant SaaS and PaaS based systems.

Current / Previous Roles:

Ben was the CTO at the Telecommunications Industry Association where he provide strategic direction in the associations IT transformation. Ben served as the CIO for the Council of Better Business Bureau for over 6 years. Other key roles include serving as the CTO at Grab Networks, and director of IT at GS1. Director of Products at IBM.

Education:

Ben earned his Masters Business Administration (MBA) from George Mason University.  He completed his undergraduate degree at Radford University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering.

• Coordinated an international team of retailers and manufactures to rollout the GS1 Global Registry® and GDSN-certified data pools. The combined efforts significantly improved the exchange of shipping and product information saving the participating partners millions of dollars across their chain.
