Bio:

Harry Smeenk is a recognized industry technology strategist and thought leader in Smart Buildings, Edge Data Centers, IoT and next-generation networks. He is a highly experienced executive leader in the design, development, marketing, deployment, and integration of next-generation public and private telecom and technology solutions. He drove worldwide cross-industry business development, best practices, and standards development in Smart Buildings, Edge Data Centers, and Network Service Assurance.

Current / Previous Roles:

Harry is the President at Tapa after having been its Executive Vice President. He is also the founder of Smart Buildings Online LLC, industry leaders in smart buildings evolution. Previously Harry was Senior Vice President Technology and Programs at Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) leading the smart buildings program. Other positions include Chief Operating Officer at Entos Design a leading Dallas commercial real estate design firm and Entrepreneur in Residence at North Texas Enterprise Corporation (NTEC), a technology-focused start-up incubator and accelerator.

Education:

Harry earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.  He completed his undergraduate degree at St. John Fisher College with a Bachelor of Science in Management.
