Building Management Systems, Building Automation Systems, Energy Management Systems and more are provided by different vendors and do not interconnect easily.

Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and devices are being added to doors, windows, blinds, elevators, temperature controls, lighting and everything else in the building overwhelming buildings operators.

These systems have their own language and generally cannot communicate to each other creating a “vendor lock” (i.e. building would need to buy all from one vendor.)

Tenants are demanding healthier, safer buildings and direct control of their environment. Government demanding “green” and “environmental” buildings.

The “New Normal” will require Healthy Buildings with “Touch-Free” movement throughout the building, better air quality, and enhanced cleaning process.
