CONFIGURE AND USE TAPA
INSTALL TAPA EDGE SERVER

Install Tapa Edge Server and connect to the building’s existing Building Systems communication protocol (typically BACnet).

REGISTER
DEVICES
Tapa searches the building’s systems for controls, sensors, end points, and other IoT devices that can be registered to a occupants smartphone.
CONFIGURE ACCESS

Once registered the Owner, Operator or Occupant gains access and control to the dashboards and virtual devices that have been assigned to them.
AND FOR THE ENGINEERS...
TAPA EDGE SERVER
TES is an industrial device (mini pc/ rasperry pi) deployed in the building to connect to the building's smart devices and the Tapa Cloud.
TAPA SERVER MANAGER
Local web application that resides on the Tapa Edge Server that allows the Systems Integrator technician to connect the server to the building's local network, internet access, and Tapa cloud. It also allows for 3rd party product integration and configuration to be setup, and firmware upgrades as well.
TAPA CONFIG MANAGER
Local web application that resides on the Tapa Edge Server that allows the System Integrator technician to configure the Tapa Edge Server to the client building it resides. The technician also connects to the IoT network and configures the physical IoT devices and creates Tapa Virtual devices for assignment and control in the Tapa Manage & Tapa Tenant applications. Device monitors are configured here as well.
